Canadian screen actress who is most well-known for her role as Bo Dennis from Lost Girl. In 2019 she began starring in CBSs Blood & Treasure. Her other credits include 2006s Earthstorm as well as 2005's The Perfect Neighbor. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada the daughter of Peter Silk an academic and his wife Ilkay an actress producer, playwright and educator as well as director of drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Annas first childhood memories are being a spectator to her mother's work while she was in rehearsals for her play. Silk used to actress for a variety of commercials. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded by St. Thomas University, in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions, Seven Menus & The Kitchen. In 2009 she was married Seth Cooperman. Samuel and Levi Cooperman are the names of their two sons. The actress landed her first significant role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus on the Canadian television show Lost Girl in 2009. Her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren as lovers of the same gender on Lost Girl was named one of the series's all-time Favorite Television Couples by CNN and was named The Top TV Couple for 2013. E! Entertainment Television. Silk's online popularity grew due to the series.
